I will not only be able to help you lose weight by giving you healthy eating advice and healthy recipes. But I will also coach you to manage your expectations and motivate you to achieve a realistic weigh loss goal.
It all starts with you completing a client assessment form that can be downloaded from my website. The treatment and overall strategy is unique to your specific needs, meaning the therapy is far more effective and will produce faster results. My sessions last approximately one hour and payment is due in full at the end of each session (by cash or cheque). There are no upfront costs and you do not have to commit to a number of sessions.
To determine the level of weight loss you need to achieve I may take your BMI (Body Mass Index) and waist to hip ratio. The BMI helps to determine how much you weigh in relation to your height. Waist measurements give you an idea of how fat is distributed in your body.

There has been a lot of publicity about the latest diet ‘Intermittent fasting’. I’m hoping to make it very simple and easy for you to follow as a permanent eating plan. I believe the much publicised version has been slightly hijacked in that it suggests you can eat anything you like in whatever quantities for 5 days and restrict your calories to 500-700 for 2 days. Hence the ‘5:2’ diet
I propose that you follow a healthy eating plan for 5 days; eating plenty of fruits and veg, lots of lean meat, fish, pulses, whole grains and nuts and seeds – a principle based on the Mediterranean diet that offers substantial protection against heart disease, cancer, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. There will even be room for some dark chocolate, And of course drink plenty of water. You will consume a normal 2000 calories a day. Nothing new there!
Then for 2 days; and its up to you whether the two days are consecutive or spaced apart to fit around your lifestyle, you adopt a 500-700 calories a day eating plan. This eating plan has soared in popularity since featuring on a BBC2 Horizon documentary where Dr Michael Mosley ate normally for five days a week and only consumed 600 calories the other two days . Dr Mosley lost nearly a stone and reduced his body fat by about 25 per cent. He also improved his blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Although there has been no long term study into the effectiveness of this type of plan in keeping weight off, there is plenty of evidence to support the claim that calorie restriction can lead to increased longevity.
